Dr. Sharee Wright was born in Charleston, SC and currently resides in the West End of Richmond. Dr. Wright is the newest addition to the Vascular and Endovascular division of The Surgical Associates of Richmond.
Dr. Wright practices all aspects of vascular and endovascular surgery with special interest in aneurysmal disease of the aorta, endovascular management of aortic pathology, carotid disease, diabetic limb salvage, open revascularization, hemodialysis access, and management of venous insufficiency.
Dr. Wright is now accepting patients at our Johnston Willis office near Johnston Willis Hospital. She will be performing surgeries at CJW Medical Center’s Johnston Willis and Chippenham campuses and Bon Secours, St. Francis Medical Center.
Dr. Wright received her bachelor degree from North Carolina State University. She then return to Charleston to complete her medical education. After obtaining her medical degree from The Medical University of South Carolina, she remained to complete her general surgery internship (2008) and residency (2013). She was named the administrative chief resident of the MUSC General Surgery Residency for the 2012 – 2013 academic year. During her residency, she was nominated for several teaching awards.
Dr. Wright successfully completed two years of additional training in Vascular and Endovascular Surgery in June 2015 at Temple University in Philadelphia, PA. She is board eligible for the American Board of Vascular and Endovascular Surgery.
Sharee enjoys fitness, spending time outside and experiencing new cuisines. She is enjoying experiencing all the Richmond area has to offer.
