Introduction
Ann was born in Miami, FL and grew up in the Richmond area. Prior to joining SAR she worked for five years as a physician assistant in emergency medicine. She currently resides with her family in Chesterfield County. Ann works primarily providing care to our general surgery and vascular patients at St. Francis Medical Center.
Education
Ann attended Virginia Tech where she was a member of the Virginia Tech Rescue Squad. She graduated in 2004 with a bachelor’s degree in biology. Ann went on to attend Eastern Virginia Medical School Master of Physician Assistant Program, graduating in 2009. She completed her master’s literature review on the safety of minimally-invasive total hip replacement. She is certified by the National Commission on the Certification of Physician Assistants.
Personal Note
Ann enjoys exploring all Richmond has to offer with her two young children. Other interests include travel, current events, and swimming.
